About us

We are an independent guide for visitors to the Baths of Caracalla. We don't belong to the Soprintendenza or to the Ministry of Culture, and we don't sell tickets.

What this website is

termedicaracalla.rome.it brings together what you need to plan a visit: prices, opening hours, getting there, which ticket to choose, the history, the underground and the summer opera.

We have no ties to the Soprintendenza Speciale di Roma, which runs the Baths, or to the Ministry of Culture. The official page is on soprintendenzaspecialeroma.it; official tickets are sold on Musei Italiani.

How we check our information

Every price, time and rule comes from an official page (Soprintendenza Speciale di Roma, Ministry of Culture, Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, Sovrintendenza Capitolina, Roma Mobilità), which we cite at the end of each guide with the date we checked it. Measurements and details that the official sources don't publish come from Wikipedia, and we say so.

The last full review of the official data was on 26 October 2026. When official sources disagree we say so, rather than picking a figure at random. If you spot something that has changed, write to us.
